Cunico Metals Inc. has confirmed the discovery of rhodium (Rh) at the Veronneau Property, significantly expanding the project’s Platinum Group Element (PGE) potential. Preliminary testing identified rhodium within both the newly recognized Upper Horizon and the Basal Contact, indicating the presence of a large-scale, multi-horizon PGE magmatic system. Highlights include up to 0.037 g/t Rh over 1 meter from the SWV-23-06 drill hole and 0.029 g/t Rh from surface grab samples, with mineralization actively associated with a chromium-rich stratigraphic layer. Because historical drilling campaigns did not systematically analyze the full PGE suite, this finding validates a previously unrecognized Palladium-Platinum-Rhodium assemblage across the asset. This discovery strategically enhances the overall metal basket valuation and reinforces the district-scale fertility of the largely untested 20-kilometer magmatic corridor.
