Marc-André Lavoie

Chairman of the Board

Capital Markets Background: Over 25 years of institutional financial experience specializing in debt origination, corporate finance, and fixed income trading with major international investment banks in London and New York.

Mining & Energy Background: Served as CEO, President, and Director for two TSX Venture listed public oil and gas corporations. Founder and advisor to an advanced base metals development mining project and Director of a large-scale iron ore mining and metals asset. Has chaired independent board, HR, and audit committees for publicly listed gold and copper exploration enterprises.

Venture Capital: Managing Director of a private investment and venture capital firm holding dedicated positions across natural resources and commercial real estate for the past 15 years.

Education: BA from St. Francis Xavier University; M.Sc. (Econ.) from the London School of Economics; M.Phil. from Cambridge University.

John Tait

CEO & Director

Experience: Over 25 years in the mineral resources sector serving as CEO and director for multiple publicly traded exploration companies.

Track Record: Former President of Southern Star Resources Inc., which made the significant Cochenour/Bruce Channel discovery in Red Lake, Ontario. Southern Star subsequently merged into Gold Eagle Mines Ltd., which was acquired by Goldcorp for $1.5 billion in 2008.

Recently served as CEO of Mines D’Or Orebec Inc., orchestrating its sale to IAMGOLD Inc. in a cash-and-share transaction that generated a 4x investment gain from inception to closing.

Education: Graduate of Queen’s University.

Michel Chapdelaine

P.Geo., B.Eng. – VP Exploration & Director

Experience: Over 30 years of expertise spanning mineral exploration, mine development, and reverse circulation (RC) drilling program management throughout Québec, Ontario, and international jurisdictions.

Track Record: Spent 12 years as a Senior Supervising Geologist at Virginia Gold Mines, where he directed the exploration strategies in James Bay and Northern Québec that culminated in the discovery of the Éléonore Gold Deposit (subsequently acquired by Goldcorp for US$420 million).

Education & Professional Affiliations: Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. Completed graduate-level research focused on gold-bearing banded iron formation systems in Northern Québec alongside SOQUEM. Registered Professional Geologist (P.Geo.).

Carmelo Marrelli

CPA, CA, CGA – Chief Financial Officer

Experience: Principal of The Marrelli Group with extensive experience acting as CFO for a wide selection of issuers listed on the TSX, TSX-V, and CSE, as well as unlisted entities.

Education & Professional Affiliations:
Holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA, CGA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Robert Boisjoli

FCPA, CPA, CBV – Chairman of the Audit Committee

Experience: Over 30 years of operations, investment banking, and financial advisory service. Currently the managing director of Atwater Financial Group, providing specialized financial reporting infrastructure to publicly listed exploration issuers.

Professional Affiliations: Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA, CPA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV). Serves as Chairman of CPA Professional Liability Plan Inc..

Justin Reid

Director

Geological & Advisory Background: Geologist and capital markets executive with over 20 years of dedicated resource-space experience. Initiated his career with the Saskatchewan Geological Survey and Cominco Global Exploration, transitioning later into banking as a partner and senior mining analyst at Sprott/Cormark Securities in Toronto.

Corporate Executive Roles: Former Executive General Manager at Paladin Energy, directing all corporate development, market strategy, and M&A activities. Former Managing Director of Global Mining Sales at National Bank Financial. Served as President and Director of Sulliden Gold Corporation until its acquisition by Rio Alto Mining in 2014, and Managing Director at Aguia Resources Ltd. from 2015 to 2019. Currently serves as the President, CEO, and Director of Troilus Mining Corporation.

Education: B.Sc. from the University of Regina; M.Sc. from the University of Toronto; MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Lucie Mathieu

Ph.D., P.Geo. – Technical Advisor

Technical Expertise: Specialist in economic geology, mineral exploration, petrology, magmatic evolution systems, craton geology, and zircon geochronology.

Experience: Founder of GEOX (2023), a dedicated mineral exploration and exploitation consultancy. Academic and industrial history includes advisory roles with Kobold Metals, research functions with Consorem, and university faculty teaching tenures.

Education & Professional Affiliations: Earned her Ph.D. from Trinity College Dublin. Registered member of the Order of Geologists of Québec (O.G.Q.).

Maude-Émilie Letarte

LL.B. – Director

Experience: Ms. Letarte is a Wealth Advisor with National Bank Financial in the Letarte Charest Wealth Management Team. She serves high-net-worth families, business owners and multi-generational family groups through a family office model, delivering integrated advice on investment management, estate and succession planning, governance and intergenerational wealth transfer strategies. 

Before joining the wealth management industry, Ms. Letarte practiced corporate and securities law, advising public and private issuers on equity and debt financings, corporate governance matters, regulatory compliance and strategic transactions. Her experience at the intersection of law, finance and governance provides a strong foundation in governance, risk oversight and long-term value creation.

Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Laval University.

Monique Hutchins

Corporate Secretary

Experience: Over 20 years of governance, regulatory, and corporate secretarial experience within the financial and natural resource sectors. Currently serves as the Managing Director of DSA Corporate Services, guiding compliance and governance infrastructure for both public and private operations. Previous core governance positions include roles at Independent Review Inc., ISS, and Kingsdale.

Education: Academic credentials in commerce, management, and corporate governance from Concordia University, McGill University, Rotman School of Management, and The Chartered Governance Institute of Canada.
