Cunico Metals Inc. Successfully Consolidates 100% Interest in the Veronneau Project<\/b> March 31, 2026<\/i><\/p>\n
TORONTO, ON<\/b> \u2014 Cunico Metals Inc. (“Cunico” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the successful consolidation of a 100% interest in the Veronneau Project, located approximately 200 kilometers by paved road north of Matagami, Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n
Cunico was officially incorporated on January 20, 2026, as a dedicated vehicle to consolidate the property and pursue a go-public strategy. Through a series of transactions finalized on March 31, 2026, Cunico acquired a private Qu\u00e9bec company holding an interest in the project and executed a corporate restructuring to carve out the remaining ownership from a second private entity.<\/p>\n
A total of 36,000,000 common shares of Cunico were issued in connection with this project consolidation. Over the past seven years, the previous owners systematically consolidated the property and invested approximately $5.1 million in exploration programs, including geological work, geophysics, prospecting, and successful diamond drilling. This represents approximately $0.14 of historical project expenditure per Cunico share issued.<\/p>\n
This foundational transaction provides Cunico with a fully consolidated exploration asset and positions the Company to advance the Veronneau Project through technically driven exploration while transitioning toward the public market.<\/p>\n
